Abstract:
This is a chapter of a book which presents and discusses the main findings of the global Next Gen project and which
includes a series of principles for the training of CBR that have come out of various data sources.
It presents one of the 21 case studies from all regions of the world that were used for this global research project. According to the the scheme used for case studies, the chapter consists of five different sections:
1. Introduction to the Institution, which shortly introduces the institution to the readers, with a brief on its history, origin, mission, its idea behind offering CBR training, and the courses offered.
2. CBR training program. This section goes deep into the training content and pedagogies of the CBR training offered by the institution.
3. Learner’s and Trainer’s profiles. This portion of the case provides information as to who the trainees and trainers
are in the training programs. Information on their background and expertise is documented.
4. Capacity building. This section of the case study strictly focuses on the capacities that the institution builds in researchers through its training programs, the competencies developed and the skill sets acquired.
5. Conclusions and future actions. This gives a sneak-peak into the future plans of the institution with respect to the
current programs being offered. This includes their reflections on the present and plans for upscaling current efforts.
