abstract:
he present invention is directed to the preparation of natural extracts of myrtle, cistus, arbutus, lentisk and other Mediterranean plant species extracts (standardized in the content of polyphenolic molecules), isolated both from different plant tissues and by-products deriving from artisan or industrial manufactures carried out on the same species. The utilization of the above extracts as antimycotic agents is related to its activity towards yeast and yeast-like microorganisms of biomedical interest.
