La biodiversità dell’ittiofauna costiera di substrato roccioso in due Aree Marine Protette della Sardegna orientale

Coastal fish assemblages from rocky zones with different protection levels were investigated by visual census at two MPA of western Sardinia. A total of 65 species of Teleosts from 23 families were observed. Sparids and Labrids were more abundant in species richness. No significant differences in fish biodiversity between zones with different protection degree were observed. Some significant differences in densities of genus Diplodus between no-take zones and general reserve areas were instead found.
