Italiens et Français en contact: les interactions dans les forums de discussion Galanet

The aim of this study is to observe exchanges between french and italian students during plurilingual (french, spanish, italian and portuguese) asynchronous interactions on the Galanet platform (www.galanet.eu). Galanet project is centred on the notion of intercomprehension, applied to Romance Languages. This analysis, which is supported by intercultural pragmatics, examines the cultural differences of practices adopted by French and Italian participants at Galanet discussion forums as well as new practices raised by the « intercultural meeting » (De Nuchèze) which takes place within this plurilingual e-learning context. Between different linguistic, discursive and interactionnist phenomena which characterize this on line exchanges, we are particularly interested in interaction rituals, which are culturally determined, in face-to-face conversation as well as in computer-mediated communication (CMC).
