Objectives:
To
assess
ultrasound
findings
in
pregnant
women
with
fetal
CMV
infection
treated
with
hyperimmune
serum
anti-‐CMV
(CMV-‐Ig).
Methods:
Between
January
2002
and
December
2009,
501
women
with
primary
CMV
infection
were
identified.
Among
them,
47
women
had
a
CMV-‐positive
amniotic
fluid
(AF)
sampled
after
20
weeks
of
gestation
and
at
least
6–8
weeks
after
primary
infection.
Twenty-‐three
women
received
200
UI/kg
of
CMV-‐Ig
by
single
endovenous
infusion
between
23
and
29
weeks
of
gestation,
24
did
not
received
CMV-‐Ig.
Fetal
ultrasonography
was
performed
monthly.
Follow
up
in
infants
was
performed
at
a
median
age
of
14
months
(range
6–24).
Results:
In18/47
fetuses
CMV-‐associated
ultrasound
abnormalities
(IUGR,
bowel/hepatic

with
non-‐obese
