Contra viento y marea. La traducción de las unidades fraseológicas (español-italiano)

This paper is born with the aim of examining in depth the study of contrastive phraseoloy and highlighting the main issues related to the translation of phraseological units from Spanish to Italian througn the analysis of the only existing Italian translation of La Colmena. Furthermore, we will try to demonstrate how the consistent use of phraseological units, typical of La Colmena, is not only due to a rigorous exercise of linguistic mimicry, a topic abundantly studied by authors such as Sobejano (2002) or Pennisi (2009); instead, it should rather be considered as a stylistic recourse used by the author in order to express an objective reality which flees from the censorship's control.
