Note sul concetto di saturazione in Jean-Luc Marion

The present study reconstructs the elaboration of the concept of saturation in the work of Jean-Luc Marion. This concept appears in a mature phase of its proposal production. We find it thematized in the book Étant donné and the book De surcroît is entirely dedicated to it. The role of this concept is capital with respect to the Marion production as it must 1) provide the example of a class of phenomena in which the principle of donation in phenomenology becomes evident, 2) allow the extension of this principle to all phenomena and 3) enable a broadening of the phenomenology itself to new classes of phenomena. In the reconstruction of this elaboration the present study tries to highlight the problematic points of the proposal.
