“Relativism and Objectivity”

The aim of the paper is to show how and why radical relativism is untenable. In the first place, I outline a possible route to relativism, and I highlight the possible consequences radical relativism has on the epistemological and metaphysical levels. I then argue for the existence of a link between radical relativism and skepticism, a link which dooms them to the same awful results. Finally, toward the end of the paper I try to give the broad coordinates for a viable anti-relativistic stance.
