Paesaggi rurali e luoghi del potere nella Sardegna medievale

Rural Landscapes and Places of Power in Medieval Sardinia.
This articles deals with the different forms of settlements present in the medieval Sardinia wich, up until the third quarter of the 13th century, coincided with the Giudicato di Torres. The author proposes a different approach for the rural settlements composed of peasents and the places of power represented mainly by the principal sites in the territory characterized by the process of castle building, with particular reference to the powerful lordship of the Genoese Doria family.
