Tran Duc Thao et la sémiotique marxiste de Vološinov et Rossi-Landi : travail linguistique, hominisation et pratique sociale

Starting from the correspondence between Trần Đức Thảo and Ferruccio Rossi-Landi, and other archival records, this contribution sets out some yet unexplored convergences of the Vietnamese philosopher’s Researches and the Italian semiotician’s theory of homology amongst linguistic production and material production. Additionally, we will explore/discuss Valentin Vološinov’s project for a dialectical materialistic semiotics. The analysis of these convergences opens the way to study the social practice of both linguistic and material work as the driving force of hominization and social reproduction.
