Abstract:
Potential evapotranspiration of Sardinia has been calculated by Thornthwaite melhod even in those areas
without thermometric data.
A close correlation between Ep and altitude has been found.
Three zones have been distinguished: mountainous areas with Ep <
750 mm, hilly areas and some alluvial
plains with Ep 750 + 850 mm and coastal plains with Ep > 850 mm.
