Aspetti pedologici della Nurra e metodologie di base per la valutazione del territorio

In this paper the importance of soil studies in environmental conservation is pointed out, especially as regards the Nurra area (Sardinia, Italy). Thus the main soil types present in that area are described and classified according to the soil taxonomy of the U.S. Department of Agriculture. Also proposed are methods for a rational interpretation of land capability and land evaluation.
