Abstract:
For an archaeology of the commentary · The aim of this paper is the analysis of chosen passages
of the Homeric poems, where can be identify an archaic idea of the commentary, which coincides with
the literary making. In general, classical antiquity does not know the hermeneutical commentary, which
wants to enter ‘the mind of the author’, but the commentary that serves to analyse the style and the
structures of literary texts, in order to produce new texts.
