Inediti poetici nella raccolta di un ecclesiastico di primo Cinquecento: Perfetto Corazzini (ms. Berkeley, Bancroft Library, UCB 77)

This work studies for the first time the ms. UCB 77 of the Bancroft Library in Berkeley (University of California). On the basis of the examination of the code, which transmits numerous poems written before 1540 and attributed to the humanist Perfetto Corazzini, it was possible to rectify numerous errors concerning the supposed autography of this witness, the authorship of the poems and the languages in which they are written. The study also traces a biographical profile of Corazzini, until today completely unknown. An appendix to the article gives a complete index of the compositions contained in the code with indication, for each of them, of the title, the number of verses composing it and the incipit.
