Le Aquae calidae della Sardinia / Ibba, A.. - In: SYLLOGE EPIGRAPHICA BARCINONENSIS. - ISSN 2013-4118. - 15:(2017), pp. 47-68.
abstract:
Sardinia has an important network of hot springs, exploited since prehistoric times and connected to the main roads. Here, apart from an almost little-known dedication to Venus perhaps by a thermal structure from Nora, we analyze the evidence from the baths of Aquae Ypsitanae, where were venerated Asclepius, the Nymphs and Atecina, of Aquae Lesitanae, connected to Asclepius, Aquae Neapolitanae with a numen divinus sanctus, Maladroxia, perhaps linked to Apollo, Asclepius and Harpocrates, Flumentepido, S’Acquacotta, Dorgali and Casteldoria.
