This study is born
from the demand to take back the discussion on some themes concerning the chronology of the Sardinian prehistory,
particularly the end of the Neolithic and the chronology of the “Ozieri phenomenon”, whose defi nition in
recent times goes specifying itself thanks to the individualization of facies determining upper limit of it (S. Ciriaco)
and lower (Sub-Ozieri). In this point of view it’s interesting to take back in consideration the C14 dating, adding
new dates which come from a sector of the vast settlement of Su Coddu-Selargius. The emerging picture, still too
lacunose, offers an as interesting as problematic new element that would point out a chronology, for the Sub-Ozieri,
reaching the fi rst centuries of the III millennium cal. B.C.
