Contesti scolastici e ruoli di docenti e discenti

The Italian school system is analyzed in the work from the point of abandonment and dispersion (drop-out), in light of some international surveys (Report of PISA). Moreover, the decline of the school is examined in a psychological framework that aims to integrate the role of the figures who work there: young people and their problems, the teachers and their training, the regional institution. Finally we consider the prospects of the formative role of the school in its various environments and contexts of educational policy.
