Malformazioni dell'apparato genitale della scrofa

Observation are reported an sectorial malformations seen in 8847 sows genital tracts. The sows had been regular slaughtered and they came borh from Sardinian and import breedings. The anomalies concern 1132 (12,8%) reproductive tract; the highest frequency in the ovaric region (569 basis) and Wolffian duct persistence (540) in comparison with those salpingean (26), uterine (57), of cervix and vagina (16). The observations analysis shows that the checked pathology generally follows what already know. There haven't been in Sardinia (12,75 %); the same for the percentage of anomalies responsible of impaired fertility or sterility (1,3 % and 1,42 %).
