BLOOD SERUM PROTEOME FOR WELFARE EVALUATION IN PIGS / Roncada, P., Begni, B., Amadori, M., Cristoni, S., Archetti, I.l., Boldetti, C., Fortin, R., Deriu, F., Greppi, G.. - In: VETERINARY RESEARCH COMMUNICATIONS. - ISSN 0165-7380. - 31-1:(2007), pp. 321-325.
abstract:
The definition of Fanimal welfare_ includes several factors, but it primarily describes the
environmental adaptation of an individual. (Broom and Johnson, 1993).
Environmental changes and subsequent homeostatic adaptation are responsible for
different genetic expressions but it is well known that these perturbations are not the same for the modifications in the protein complement of the genome, the proteome.
