Lungo le rutas del vino alla scoperta del paesaggio vitivinicolo di Lanzarote nelle “Isole fortunate”

For quite some time now the wine has become a tourist resource capable
to meeting the needs of tourists who are looking for an experiential
journey in contact with the local culture. Thus, the wine landscapes
often appear to the travelers as “new” tourist product also
capable to diversify a territory tourist service. In this specific case, after
an exam of the literature concerning wine tourism, we have analyzed
the environment of Lanzarote, in the Canary Islands. Here the
wine landscape features are essential for the development of cultural
routes. This is also proposed through iconographic showing such as
photos and satellite pictures as well as cartographic processing using
Free Open Source GIS packages.
