Imprenditorialità e gestione dello sviluppo. Il caso della Sardegna nord-occidentale (prefazione di Ignacy Sachs)

In this empirical study (based on more than 160 semi-structured interviews) we analyse the difficulties faced by local entrepreneurs in taking on the risks associated with innovation in contemporary Sardinia. In this light, rather than dynamic producers, local entrepreneurs appear to be passive products, or in the best of cases, “administrators” in a scenario strongly influenced by dependency on state intervention. The innovative nature of this work lies in its description of a type of entrepreneur that is markedly different from that of the traditional theories (Weber, Sombart, Dobb, Schumpeter etc.).
