Solidarity Know-how in local develpoment: translate civil virtues into practice

This work deals with possible scenarios in the contemporary post-industrial Italian crisis that led to the abandonment of the countryside, thereby jeopardizing the survival of traditional local activities and enterprises. The importance of social cooperation together with local knowledge and the role of social entrepreneurs who invest in "hidden, wasted or badly used resources" is stressed in this work
