Dati e interpretazioni della stratigrafia nuragica nell’attività di Antonio Taramelli

Through the rereading of the reports on excavation and archive documentation, the paper aims to consider some of the excavations of Antonio Taramelli to offer a comprehensive review of the data and a reflection on the interpretations proposed by the scholar.
The focus will be on the nuraghe Lugherras in Paulilatino, investigated in 1906 through the excavation of the various sectors of the nuraghe, including the central tower, the courtyard, the well and a lateral tower and which led to the recovery of a large amount of materials that representing different phases of frequentation.
In particular, the stratification identified within the well of the courtyard is suitable to observations about the chrono-typological sequence of pottery found inside.
