This work explores the principle of non-punishment for victims of human trafficking, drawing on the Court of Cassation ruling, that excluded the liability of a victim of human trafficking for crimes committed under coercion. Starting from the supranational legal context and the European Court of Human Rights case-law on this issue, the Author delves into the challenges of implementing the non-punishment principle within the Italian legal framework, due to the lack of a specific provision.
