Servizi sociali e articolazioni del welfare municipale

The principal problems concerning Italian social policies are analysed in a period of transition in which the organisation of welfare is transferred from single municipalities to conglomerations and associations, as established by a National law, n. 328/2000. In this article we present the case-study of Sardinia, regulated by a regional law, n. 23/2005, in which the new aspects of integration are being realised only thanks to the willingness of the social workers, in a scenario of considerable difficulty and frequent contradictions.
