Digital Twin della Villa di Massenzio

The research focuses on the creation of a digital twin of the Villa of Maxentius, an imperial villa located between the II and III Mile of the Ancient Appia. The "twin" is a virtual simulacrum, corresponding to what is present in reality, where all the information and data referring to Villa of Maxentius are contained, from the digital geometric shape to the mathematical consistency, from the state of conservation to the maintenance program, up to enhancement through the use of ICT. The core of the digital twin is made up of federated 3D models related to each other in a data sharing environment such as the Common Data Environment (CDE).
