abstract:
The survey carried out in the territory of Ellès was organized with finality of finding
and analysis of the data related to the settlement criteria of the community that has
built the megalithic tombs. The archaeological material identified during the recognitions
has consisted especially in finds of historical age: the absence of local concentrations and
the rarefaction and dispersion of the finds allow to exclude the presence, in the territory
surrounding the megalithic structures, of settlements referable to the necropolis.
