The brackish lakes of Sardinia / Ceccherelli, G., Padedda, B.M., Sechi, N.. - (2009), pp. 125-136.
abstract:
In this paper all the information on macrophyte presence and/or abundance
reported by scientific papers, grey literature and technical reports for Sardinian
coastal brackish embayments were reviewed with the aim to take stock of the
knowledge on the phytobenthos. Results highlighted the poor number of
quantitative investigations which were also carried out according to unsuitable
sampling planes. Therefore, the real need exists of careful studies of these
basins from both a taxonomical and a statistical point of view, also for their
sustainable management.
