La prospettiva dell’anti-oppressive practice nel servizio sociale: dalle risposte emergenziali alle strategie alternative per la protezione delle donne vittime di violenza domestica

The paper presents the first results of the START project, created by the University of Sassari with the aim to build an alliance between academic and professional knowledge to combat gender-based violence, thanks to the involvement of the Antiviolence Centers in central northern Sardinia. In this case study the anti-oppressive practice is distinguished as a set of reflective actions that engage institutions and professions in the timely "competent recognition" of domestic violence to avoid oppressive social dynamics in the helping relationship.
