abstract:
This paper presents the results of a research aimed at elucidating the value and role ofemerging technologies in architecture and design, with a particular focus on additive man-ufacturing and multi-material technology for the production of modular and sustainablecomponents through the recycling of stone waste. Research in the fields of architecture,materials engineering, and the environment has been compared with experiments conduct-ed in creating products using stone-derived material manufactured through both additiveand traditional subtractive processes. The potential of additive manufacturing through therecovery of stone waste is evident in visually and functionally innovative, versatile, and en-vironmentally friendly products and components
