Intonaci in edifici in terra cruda negli abitati preistorici della Sardegna. Dati archeologici e archeometrici preliminari dall’insediamento di Su Coddu/Canelles (Selargius, CA)

At Selargius town, close to Cagliari, some eneolitic understructures, digged into clayey alluvion, occurr. Besides their different utilization, in all these structures the employment of clay has been ascertained and moreover excavations put in the light several pieces of daub. Petrographical studies, carried out in thin section, evidenced a mud-marly stand on which one or more coating strata rest. These are made up of very fine lime mortar and, sometimes, they sustain a submillimetric layer, possibly a scialbatura of lime milk that represents an unusual case in prehistoric time
