Aletheia e doxa oltre Parmenide. Su un nuovo libro di Gennaro Sasso

Gennaro Sasso's book, "Il logo, la morte", suggests a relationship between the truth of being (or, indeed, the logo) and the varied world of things that happen (which includes the finite existence of human beings). Such a relationship engages a very radical confrontation with the metaphysical tradition and makes every effort to remove any idealistic ("subject", "thought", "consciousness") and theological ("object", "cause", "fundamental") character from the truth. In doing so, it opens up the question of how the philosopher thinks and interprets the truth (with or without truth) and how the finite human being faces the subject of death. The discussion and examination of the logical system of the book and its conclusions bring out the great speculative effort that emanates from its pages.
