abstract:
Abstract In viticulture, the site-specific management of the crop in its environmental and vegetative-productive variables has played a fundamental role in the differentiation of production strategies. This study aimed to observe how the multi-temporal terrestrial and aerial survey identified homogeneous areas in a vineyard located in Usini (Italy), considering decision support maps obtained through geostatistical analysis of the data and defining the most appropriate period for the recognition of differentiated management zones. The obtained maps helped identifying homogeneous zones for differentiated management, highlighting variables convergence only on the last monitoring date. The maps obtained during the phenological phases before harvesting was the most appropriate for the evaluation of site-specific variability in vineyards in the Mediterranean environment, contributing to the improvement of the management of agronomic practices by the decision support system provided by Precision Agriculture technologies.
