Abstract:
The study and analysis of a dismissed defence system as Forte Marghera, during the workshop, brought to the attention of the participating students a project and research field that was still unappreciated.
The topic of the dismissed military heritage, in this case of the Veneto region, but generally speaking both in Italy and abroad, is very important for the economic, environmental and urban issues that involves.
From the economic point of view, the need of huge investments for the restoration and the redevelopment of these buildings, even of only their structures, is undeniable. For what purpose? Why does every project need a careful planning of the final objectives? And how a single project of such an extent must or may affect the surrounding environment?
