La cartografia tematica e la distribuzione geografica dei nuraghi: l'esempio dell'impiego delle carte geo-litologiche

One of the most important research trends carried on by the Istituto e Laboratorio di Geografia of the University of Sassari concerns the study of the relationships between nuraghi distribution and geographical factors. It's resulted that one of the factors determining the location of the different nuragical unities is surely the nature of the rocks appearing in the different sites and their usableness as building material. The comparison between the lithological map and the nuraghi distribution map permitted to point out this relationship; the research highlines the methodological validity of the thematic map elaboration as an instrument useful to the knowledge of the nuraghi geographical distribution.
