Equine sarcoid is the most frequent cutaneous neoplasia in the horse. After a short analysis of its epidemiological, ethiopathogenetical
and clinical characteristics, the Authors describe the therapeutic use of an ointment called XX terra, composed
by Sanguinaria Canadensis, Cheleritrina and Protopina, deepening the critical issues related to the treatment of the various
forms of this insidious pathology.
