On the basis of the Directive (EU) 2015/2302/EU of the European Parliament
and Council on package travel and linked travel arrangements, amending Regulation
(EC) No 2006/2004 and Directive 2011/83/EU of the European Parliament and of
the Council and repealing Council Directive 90/314/EEC, this article provides a critical analysis of the legal framework surrounding the travel services offered/promoted by tourism enterprises and airline companies through their online portals.
In this light, the past circumstances that led to the current air transport passengers
phase are examined
