La fortune du Livre des sept sages de Rome à travers sa tradition textuelle: quelques remarques à propos de la tradition du Dolopathos et de la Historia septem sapientum / Maulu, Marco. - In: MEDIOEVI. - ISSN 2465-2326. - 5:(2019), pp. 95-125.
abstract:
The Book of the Seven Sages (Lss) was one of the most wide- spread texts of the Middle Ages. Nevertheless its reception and fruition have been only partially studied and deserve a more systematic approach. The goal of this contribution is to outline a history of the reception of the Seven Sages by focussing the attention on the Dolopathos and on the latin Lss textual tradition. The aim would be to prepare a larger investigation of the Book spread beyond the geographical, chronological and linguistic boundaries that this text was able to go beyond.
