Short description:
Water forms / Casu, Alessandra. - (2019), pp. 168-185.
abstract:
The title is a sort of word game with ‘forms’, where this word, at the same time, is a verb and a noun, meaning the shape of water and, at the same time, how water affects the town shape and ‘scape’ (Cullen, 1961).
Actually, many town shapes and townscapes worldwide found their origins in the relationships with the resources, among them water. Anhai has a peculiar relationship with it, not only for the heritage marked by it, but also for how it marks Anhai’s urban morphology, its townscape, its imageability (Lynch, 1960)
