The aim of this work is to highlight the important developments shown in
recent years by the production and sharing of cartographic products in digital
and interactive format on the web. These "maps" - normally associated with
information technology such as data, images and careful descriptions -
contributes to compose the Mapmaking that, also with a view to participatory
cartography, can support local development policies.
