abstract:
The AA. Asses prolificacy in pluriparae sows after treatment with PMSG (400 U.I.) and HCG (200 U.I.) in a single administration. Data obtained are compared with data about their reproductive history when no prior treatment was given. The results show an increase in prolificacy (1,03 piglets x parturition) and 83, 78 % of sows in heat (fertile) within 3 ± 1,3 days.
