"Repertorio dei sarcofagi decorati della Sardegna romana": un aggiornamento

The same author of the Repertorio dei sarcofagi decorati della Sardegna romana, book published a few years ago, is offering here an update of this theme, on the wave of the immediate interest which has been aroused by that publication and which is attested by the reviews of the work and by the publication of new studies, concerning both specific indexed sarcophagi both new attributions. All these data are now being recovered and screened in an essay that could be functional, on the one hand, to clarify certain reading levels of the book, on the other hand to offer an updated summary of the newly acquired knowledges on decorated sarcophagi of the Roman period which have been found in Sardinia. This summary will be finally integrated by the analysis of the very recently discovered specimens.
