Studio morfologico di Enterobius vermicularis.

The authors describe light microscope and scanning electron microscope findings from a morphological study of the helminth Enterobius vermicularis (Oxyuris)....The combined study under light and scanning electron microscopy allowed us to observe the morphology of the reproductive apparatus, the cephalic pole,the longitudinal and tranverse crests, the caudal extremity, the vulva and the egggs during the dissemination of the latter.The scanning electron microscope findings, the first reported for this parasite, furnish interesting information to complement the knowledge obtained through light microscopy.
