Sopravvivenza e crescita dell’ostrica piatta (Ostrea edulis Linnaeus, 1758) nello Stagno di San Teodoro (Sardegna nord orientale)

Sub-adults of Ostrea edulis were grown in two distinct groups of pôches and baskets at a Crassostrea gigas farm in a northern Sardinian lagoon from July to November 2011. Survival and morphometric characters of the molluscs were recorded monthly. At the end of the trial, no differences in oyster survival were found, whereas significant differences among the two groups for length, width and total weight were detected.
