Primi dati sulla composizione dei popolamenti ittici in tre Aree Marine Protette della Sardegna

Fish communities of three Sardinian Marine Protected Areas were assessed by using multiple visual census techniques on various substrata at different depths between 0 and 30 m during late spring 2002. Preliminary results didn’t show differences in fish biodiversity, as well as in total abundance, between no-take zones and two control sites with a lower level of protection. Moreover, in some cases, the number of fish species and density were more abundant in control areas.
