Abstract:
The Legislative Decree n. 42/2004, hade the "Code of cultural heritage and landscape" has defined the concept of enhancement in Particular specifying the role of enhancement in "promoting awareness of cultural heritage". It linked the quality of the restoration work of the artifacts and environmental enhancement to the quality and usability of the territory. The current socio-economic and cultural scenarios require a new ability to develop shared moments of reflection to improve the quality of the protection process-restoration project-management-use of Cultural Heritage. For this reason, it is interesting to propose here the application of innovative solutions for the enhancement of cultural heritage, through a multidisciplinary approach of the project. The paper proposes an design approach mediated by technology and color of light (simplified technologies) within an environmental enhancement process of the walled city of Venzone. The paper want investigate the role of technology and materials, from the traditional to the frontiers of technological innovation, as a potential tool for environmental and monumental enhancement functionally the walled city and landscape. The immateriality of light envelops the artifact, transforming the vision, without having any contact with it. In this sense, the restoration can be enhanced and not affected by a technological approach flexible, adaptable, and removable from the programmed duration.
