Abstract:
(VO)-O-IV complexes of L-histidine and L-carnosine are reported: the main species formed by L-histidine involves a mixed [(NH2, N-im, COO-), (NH2, COO-)] coordination, while L-carnosine behaves as a simple monodentate ligand.
