abstract:
In this study, the faunal remains from a protohistoric village located in the center of Ancona have been examined. The village was inhabited in two phases, the first one attributed to the protovillanovian culture and the second one attributable to the Piceni. In addition to the products obtained from breeding and hunting, marine resources were much exploited.
