Abstract:
The release and diffusion ofEncarsia lahorensis(How.) were monitored in an infested citrus grove
(Posada). Observations are reported also on the activity of this natural parasitoid againstDialeurodes citri(Ashm.) in two other citrus groves (Muravera) under different control techniques.
Also, the undesirable side effects of pesticides on the useful entomofauna and the role ofE. lahorensisandClitostethus arcuatus(Rossi) in biological control are discussed.
